'Bringing Dhoni as coach is Virat's choice. He needs to complete on a high by winning T20 World Cup': Monty Panesar 

T20 World Cup 2021: Panesar accepts, Dhoni's essence will give Kohli certainty and assist him with living his fantasy about winning an ICC prize as a commander. 

Previous England cricketer Monty Panesar feels India skipper Virat Kohli probably played a major part to play in roping in the amazing MS Dhoni as guide of the Indian side for the T20 World Cup 2021. Panesar said Kohli, who is yet to win an ICC prize as chief, probably needed to complete on a high and thus needed Dhoni to help him in his undertaking. 

"Welcoming Dhoni on board as a coach is Virat's choice. He should have said...look this is my last World Cup as T20I commander, last time that I will be driving the side, I have played under Dhoni and gained from him. He needed a decent memory. He needs to complete on a high, that is the reason he got Dhoni as a guide," Panesar told Times of India. 

Dhoni, who had reported his retirement from all types of worldwide cricket in August 2020, was named as the coach of the Indian side for this World Cup. Dhoni is one of India's best skippers ever with two World Cups and a Champions Trophy title shockingly. Panesar accepts, Dhoni's essence will give Kohli certainty and assist him with living his fantasy about winning an ICC prize as a skipper. 

"He needed Dhoni close by while pursuing his lady ICC prize. And furthermore, Dhoni isn't charging anything, which is so great to see. He is a legend of the game. Virat needs his essence and I am certain these two people Dhoni and Virat together will do ponders for Team India in the World Cup," Panesar added. 

This will be Kohli's first and the main chance to win the T20 World Cup as he has chosen to remain down as India's briefest organization commander after this ICC occasion in Dubai and UAE. 

Previous left-arm spinner Panesar said Dhoni can direct Virat as he probably is aware the stuff to lead a side to a world title.
